What would the end of a year be without a "Top of 2011" list??? So why not show off the top books talked about by Glenn Beck during 2011? With over 100 books talked about in one year to be honest I didn't read them all. I have no idea how Glenn Beck is able to read so many books especially with his schedule. As well as I wouldn't able to afford to buy them all anyways. So I do what I hope you all do and that is get the books that interest you the most. So since I wasn't able to read everything this top 10 list is comprised of the books Glenn just couldn't stop talking about and a few honorable mentions.

For those of you who just want to cut to the chase here are the top 10 and then I'll review each book. And watch the video's below and on our YouTube Channel!

#1 Without a doubt the book most talked about this year was In The Garden Of Beasts. While this a fictional book, it's message and almost repeating of history in our day and age have tugged at Glenn's heart strings. not only has this book made an impact upon Glenn but also that of Tom Hanks who is making this book the subject of his new production company's first movie.

#2 Bonhoeffer Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy: If there is one person who Glenn looks to as an example and beacon of honor is Deitrich Bonhoeffer. Bonhoeffer has been talked about for well over a year but continued to be a focal point for many of Beck's list of hero's, with even a huge poster of Bonhoeffer's face for Beck to draw inspiration from in times of trials and tribulations.

#3 The Hiding Place: No doubt that this book had a major influence upon Glenn this year and was probably a motivating factor for Restoring Courage in Israel in 2011. It is nice to see Glenn bring this back to the forefront of book reading lists around the world since it seems to have floundered almost into obscurity by those who would rather push other agendas rather then history. Make sure to visit the Ten Boom Museum at http://tenboom.org/

#4 The Miracle of Freedom: Seven Tipping Points That Saved the World: Chris Stewart and his book showing the seven events that changed the world we the focus of many GBTV and Radio shows. The questions remains are we seeing the eight tipping point today? Chris' influence and education history created such credibility with Glenn that he has endorsed Chris Stewart's run for the new House seat in Utah.

#5 The Secret Knowledge: On the Dismantling of American Culture: Perhaps the only person to upset the left side of the aisle more than Glenn Beck this year was David Mamet with his new book and new found realization that he had been following the wrong political path. This is a great book for those teetering on the edge of "political correctness" and lesser government!
